About the role
Join Baker Hughes' innovative team delivering cutting‑edge subsea production systems for the oil and gas industry. As a Senior Procurement Specialist you will lead the end‑to‑end buying process for a defined range of goods, ensuring compliance with sourcing policies and budgetary targets.
Key responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders from RFQ, negotiation, placement, maintenance to fulfillment.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve schedule changes or issues.
- Update and work within the ERP system to track procurement activities.
- Advise functional managers on project processes and procurement procedures.
- Communicate design and coordination services with internal teams.
- Contribute to projects as a team member or lead small initiatives.
Required profile
- Significant experience in direct sourcing, procurement and supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Valid permanent work permit for the United Kingdom.
