Senior Research Nurse – Oncology Clinical Trials (Fixed‑Term)

About the role
The Senior Research Nurse will join the Oncology Research Team within the NRS SE Cancer Research Network at Western General Hospital. You will be responsible for recruiting, caring for and treating patients involved in a wide range of oncology clinical trials, working independently while interpreting protocols and supporting multidisciplinary care.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, care for and treat patients participating in oncology clinical trials.
- Collaborate with research nurses, clinicians, data managers and the multidisciplinary team across the SCAN region.
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and clinics, and travel occasionally for study meetings or to other hospitals.
Required profile
- Degree‑level education (or working towards) and experience in clinical research or oncology nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, attention to detail and flexibility in a changing environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional and academic development.
Required skills
- Good IT skills.
- Knowledge of research processes and ICH/GCP guidelines.
