Senior Tax Product Manager – Custody

About the role

The Senior Tax Product Manager – Custody will join Brown Brothers Harriman’s Global Tax Services in London, reporting to the Head of Global Tax Practice in Boston. This client‑facing position is responsible for shaping tax product solutions for custody services across a complex regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote tax solutions that meet client needs while navigating evolving regulations.
• Monitor, assess and implement tax changes, evaluating their impact on custody products and services.
• Manage tax information within BBH’s internal platform and coordinate with business units, clients and third‑party providers.
• Lead EU and OECD initiatives, including CRS 2.0 and FASTER, and engage with industry associations.
• Collaborate with Operations Tax teams to analyse market developments and adjust the custody tax offering.
• Draft market updates, policy documents and tax product materials.
• Respond to internal and external client tax inquiries within agreed timeframes.
• Research, publish and communicate risk items related to treaties or legislation.
• Perform technical analysis to support product management and oversee vendor, accounting and law‑firm engagements.

Required profile

• Strong client‑service orientation with experience in a client‑facing tax role.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proactive communicator who can collaborate with internal teams, clients and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of delivering accurate tax information under tight deadlines.
• Experience working on EU and OECD tax initiatives and engaging with industry bodies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU and OECD tax initiatives such as CRS 2.0 and FASTER.
