Senior Technical Writer

About the role

As a Senior Technical Writer at AVEVA, you will join a global technical writing team to create high‑quality documentation for the Unified Supply Chain and CONNECT platforms. Working closely with software engineers, you will translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑focused content.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, review and publish technical documentation for AVEVA software products.
• Research and transform complex specifications, procedures and architectures into user‑friendly guides.
• Maintain content quality by adhering to established standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and manage documentation projects with minimal supervision.
• Continuously improve documentation processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Highly self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency and delivery focus.
• Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working with software development teams and industrial software products.
• Project‑management experience and ability to work independently on unstructured tasks.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
