Senior Technician – Composite Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Technicians to join our composite manufacturing team in Chippenham. You will work closely with engineering and production colleagues to develop, test and continuously improve innovative composite products and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and report test and validation projects for new products and prototypes.
• Produce first‑article and prototype components using a range of composite processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive process optimisation and product improvement.
• Operate and maintain specialised equipment such as CNC centres, CMMs, programmable ovens and injection machinery.
• Document results, support quality assurance and contribute to technical documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience as a machine operator, CNC programmer, mechanic, composite laminator or similar role.
• Pro‑active problem‑solving attitude and ability to work autonomously within a team.
• Relevant science or technology qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
