Senior Town Planner – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join a leading planning and infrastructure consultancy in Bristol. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to shape high‑profile projects across infrastructure, energy, residential and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals and development appraisals from concept to consent.
• Provide strategic planning advice to clients and liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, coordinating with design, engineering and other professionals.
• Support junior staff and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• RTPI‑accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Chartered Member of the RTPI (or working towards chartership).
• Proven consultancy or local‑authority experience with strong knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation.
• Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
