Serious Injury Solicitor – Team Leader (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor to lead a dedicated team of 3–4 fee earners in Manchester. This role blends hands‑on casework with senior leadership, allowing you to manage high‑value, high‑profile serious and catastrophic injury matters while developing junior talent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of junior lawyers.
• Own file supervision and quality control across the caseload.
• Provide first‑point advice on case queries, liability and quantum.
• Guide the team through Multi‑Track litigation with confidence.
• Monitor regulatory changes and deliver relevant training.
• Play an active role in business development and client relationship management.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (CILEX or SRA).
• Proven track record handling high‑value multi‑track cases (values £500,000+).
• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
• Background in catastrophic and serious injury matters such as brain, spinal or orthopaedic injuries.
