SHEQ Manager – Health, Safety & Environment Lead

About the role

The SHEQ Manager will lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality function across MCR Property Group's portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK. Reporting to senior leadership, you will guide operational teams and ensure compliance with the company’s H&S strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of SHEQ Advisors supporting projects nationwide.
• Provide expert H&S advice to project teams and act as the primary point of contact.
• Travel across England and Scotland to conduct site visits, safety meetings and audits.
• Review project documentation and monitor compliance with safety regulations.
• Produce monthly H&S data, safety statistics and SHE performance bulletins for directors.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety, or NEBOSH qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior SHEQ role within a construction‑based contractor.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred; CSCS card acceptable.
