Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Oxford

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading national facilities management provider at a major site near Oxford. The role follows a rotating “days only” shift pattern, offering high stability and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical tasks across the site.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and industry best practice, including 17th/18th Edition regulations.
• Monitor and manage main building plant and equipment on a daily basis.
• Supervise subcontractors, maintaining professional standards for the client.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in commercial environments.
• Valid driving licence and ability to pass a DBS check.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) procedures.
• Knowledge of 17th and 18th Edition electrical regulations.
• Plant monitoring and management.
