About the role
DPD is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead a busy depot in Leicester. You will be responsible for delivering world‑class service while meeting operational, compliance, financial and HR targets in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve depot objectives across operational, compliance, financial, customer service and HR areas.
- Maintain company operating standards and ISO procedures within your area of accountability.
- Ensure targets for Premium Service, Collection Service and Delivery ETAs are met.
- Drive zero exceptions and uphold high standards of service quality.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced transport or logistics operation with direct people‑management responsibility.
- Strong communication, decision‑making, problem‑resolution and time‑management abilities.
- High resilience, self‑motivation and flexibility.
- Ability to act swiftly against any unscrupulous activity.

Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Chrome applications.
