Shopify Plus Web Developer – Remote (London)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Web Developer to own and evolve the Shopify Plus ecommerce estate for three fast‑growing DTC beauty brands. You will be the internal technical authority, transitioning the business from an agency model to an in‑house capability.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end development of three Shopify Plus storefronts.
• Build and optimise high‑performance, conversion‑focused sites using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS.
• Develop custom functionality, manage third‑party apps, integrations and platform architecture.
• Improve site speed, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO.
• Deliver new features, landing pages and campaign builds quickly.
• Collaborate with Ecommerce, Performance Marketing, CRM and Brand teams.
• Support international expansion and multi‑store growth.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Shopify Plus (non‑negotiable).
• Solid front‑end expertise in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with Shopify APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Commercial awareness of how development decisions impact conversion and revenue.
• Confidence using AI tools in daily development work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑starter with a track record of ownership in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
