Site Manager

About the role

Unity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction sites across London. You will work closely with the Operations and Procurement teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high quality standard.

Key responsibilities

• Attend the site each day, ensuring punctuality and safety compliance.
• Supervise operatives, conduct inductions and manage day‑to‑day site activities.
• Apply for and close daily permits, carry out health‑and‑safety inspections and issue weekly safety reports.
• Control quality, organise handovers of completed works and maintain accurate site diaries.
• Coordinate material deliveries with the procurement team and act as the single point of contact for clients.
• Produce weekly site reports using the Fieldwire app and attend regular progress meetings.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 5, 6 or 7 (or equivalent) in Construction Site Management.
• Valid Black CSCS Card and SMSTS certification.
• Experience working on London‑based construction sites.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for travel between sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Fieldwire application for reporting and documentation.
