Site Manager – Social Housing Planned Works (Kitchens & Bathrooms)

About the role

Connolly Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment projects within occupied social housing homes across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for delivering kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes, internal refurbishments and other planned improvement works that directly benefit residents and their communities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage refurbishment projects from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to specification.
• Monitor programme performance and progress, handling quality inspections and compliance documentation.
• Work with commercial teams to control costs and budgets.
• Maintain site records, inductions and health & safety standards.
• Provide operatives with necessary materials, equipment and support.
• Build positive relationships with residents, clients and stakeholders.
• Keep the site clean, safe and well‑organised.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in refurbishment or construction.
• Experience delivering projects in occupied environments (desirable).
• Understanding of social housing and resident‑focused delivery.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Asbestos Awareness (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
