Site Operations Placement – 12‑Month Internship

About the role

This 12‑month placement with Airbus Defence and Space in Portsmouth offers you the chance to work directly with a Site Operations Manager on high‑visibility operational initiatives. You will experience a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where each project contributes to cutting‑edge space technology.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver projects across site tasks, employee initiatives, and local community engagement.
• Contribute to transformation projects, health & safety, VIP events, space management, and general project support.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in Business Management, Operations, Business Administration, Strategy or Communications.
• IT‑literate with familiarity with digital content and tools.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently while communicating confidently with stakeholders.

What we offer

• Salary of £24,500 per year.
