Social Media Executive

About the role

The Social Media Executive will own the organic social presence of a leading consumer brand, creating engaging content, spotting trends and building community across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with PR, Creative and Digital teams to bring the brand to life online.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of brand social channels, ensuring content is on‑brand, engaging and consistent.
• Create high‑quality, platform‑specific assets including photography, video and short‑form clips.
• Support the development and execution of the social content strategy, planning campaigns and themes that grow audience and awareness.
• Identify emerging trends, platform updates and viral moments, producing reactive content when appropriate.
• Work closely with Design, PR and Creative teams to maximise content opportunities.
• Assist with influencer partnerships and collaborations to extend reach.
• Monitor channels, engage with audiences and respond to enquiries.
• Analyse performance data and audience insights, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing brand social channels.
• Confidence in creating photography and video content with strong editing abilities.
• Excellent understanding of current social media trends, platform algorithms and best practices.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about connecting with audiences.
