About the role

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and commercially minded Social Media Manager to join our growing Marketing team. This role offers the chance to build strong client relationships, develop strategic social media campaigns, and deliver outstanding results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client social media accounts across multiple platforms.
• Develop and deliver strategic social media plans aligned with client objectives.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging, high‑quality content tailored to each brand.
• Act as the trusted day‑to‑day contact for clients, building professional relationships.
• Attend client meetings, present ideas, and provide expert social media guidance.
• Proactively manage online communities, ensuring timely engagement and excellent customer service.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities to keep clients ahead of the curve.
• Analyse campaign performance and produce insightful reports with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with designers, account managers, and the wider marketing team.
• Take ownership of projects from concept through delivery, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing social media accounts in an agency or in‑house environment.
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across multiple brands.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how social media supports broader business goals.
• Confident presenter with experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
