Sr Software Engineer (Multiple Positions)

About the role

Robert Bosch LLC is seeking senior software engineers to join its automotive software team in Plymouth, MI. The role focuses on developing and maintaining base and diagnostics software stacks for vehicle access systems, leveraging AUTOSAR and ISO‑14229 (UDS) protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze General Motors PK Base SW and diagnostics SW stack development.
• Collaborate with the Diagnostics team on Perfectly Keyless programs, software architecture, and design.
• Configure AUTOSAR components using Vector tools and develop embedded C code.
• Own the Diagnostics Application module and drive feature implementation, testing, and requirement updates for FOTA and CAN updates.
• Interact with customers to clarify requirements and support offshore vehicle testing and debugging.
• Implement UDS protocol solutions for both AUTOSAR and non‑AUTOSAR environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in base or functional automotive software development.
• Proven experience with AUTOSAR, CCC v3 implementation, and Davinci configurator tools.
• Hands‑on experience with diagnostics application development using ISO‑14229 (UDS).
• Experience in OTA/FOTA firmware updates and CAN‑based testing.
• Familiarity with requirement management in IBM DOORS and SDLC tools.
