Staff Nurse – Outpatient IV & Wound Care

About the role
We are looking for an organised, self‑motivated Staff Nurse to join a small multidisciplinary team in an outpatient, ambulatory setting. You will provide daily IV antibiotic therapy, wound care and line management for patients referred from GPs, podiatry, inpatient wards and other health boards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver IV medications, including preparation and administration of once‑daily antibiotics.
- Perform phlebotomy, venepuncture and cannulation safely.
- Manage PICC lines and midline catheters, including insertion care and dressing changes.
- Provide comprehensive wound assessment and apply up‑to‑date dressings.
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the wider medical team.
Required profile
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational skills and self‑motivation.
- Commitment to adhere to NHS Scotland policies, including PVG registration.
