Staff Nurse – Ward 4A, Raigmore Hospital

About the role

The NHS Highland team is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join Ward 4A at Raigmore Hospital. This ward cares for patients who are no longer acutely unwell and are awaiting discharge to home or long‑term care, primarily elderly but occasionally younger patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person‑centred nursing care to support patients’ recovery and discharge plans.
• Engage patients in stimulating activities and promote independence.
• Collaborate with the Senior Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager and education team to ensure high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to NHS policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse eligible to work in the UK.
• Enthusiastic about building relationships with patients and delivering individualized care.
• Willingness to develop skills in discharge planning and holistic care.
• Gaelic speakers are encouraged to apply.
