Stirling Residential EFL Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher to join our residential programme in Stirling. You will deliver engaging, communicative lessons to teenage students following the ANGLO syllabus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, interactive lessons that meet the needs of ANGLO teenage learners.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a consistent ANGLO experience.
• Use a communicative approach, creating inclusive language, excursion and project lessons.
• Prepare weekly schemes of work, mark student work, and maintain accurate attendance registers.
• Provide constructive feedback and complete academic reports for each student.
• Support students in presentations, excursions and cultural visits.
• Follow safeguarding, welfare and Prevent policies at all times.
• Participate in briefings, meetings and CPD sessions as required.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• University degree plus a TEFL‑related qualification (e.g., CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, PGCE, 120‑hour TEFL).
• Native or near‑native English fluency.
• Dynamic teaching style with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism and embrace continuous professional development.
