Stock Operative (full-time) Exchange Square

About the role

As a Stock Operative you will ensure that stock is accurately accounted for in the loading bay and store, supporting the sales team to deliver an efficient service to customers. You will manage the intake and distribution of deliveries, keep paperwork up‑to‑date and resolve any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise deliveries to ensure timely receipt and processing.
• Collaborate with B&M on RTW/RTVs and support the sales team in collecting and dispatching stock.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all stock movements.
• Keep the loading dock and back‑of‑house areas clear, ensuring fire exits remain unobstructed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders about incoming deliveries, delays or missing items.
• Distribute deliveries to the correct store departments and manage stock movement between locations.
