Subsidence Engineer (Remote)

About the role

A renowned loss adjusting firm is expanding its services with an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer specialised in subsidence and property‑related claims. The position is fully remote, with occasional site visits required for investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle subsidence claims and provide technical support to adjusters.
• Investigate and manage claims, conduct site visits and develop case management plans.
• Prepare detailed reports covering specialist aspects, policy analysis, liability, quantum and future actions.
• Calculate and agree settlement amounts and produce final specialist reports.

Required profile

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (or working towards chartership).
• Relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, claims investigation, surveying or loss adjusting.
• ACII and/or ACILA qualifications are advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence.
