Supply Chain Specialist – Fixed Wing Operations (UK)

About the role

Boeing is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join the Fixed Wing Operations team supporting the UK E‑7 programme. The role will act as an Asset Manager during initial provisioning, ensuring a reliable delivery plan for flight‑test operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create timely procurement requisitions in SAP to meet urgent needs.
• Oversee spares burn‑down and maintain on‑site stock availability.
• Conduct risk, issue and opportunity management and keep detailed demand records.
• Support demand planning aligned with maintenance activities.
• Provide strategic and transactional support for purchasing goods and services.
• Manage stock shortages, suggest mitigation strategies, and coordinate with Boeing stakeholders.
• Maintain system data to ensure order status and stock levels are accurate.
• Resolve material discrepancies, quarantine issues, and forecast spares availability.
• Identify supply‑chain alternatives and support KPI, order execution and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Knowledge of supply‑chain operations, asset management, warehousing and logistics best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with MRO and ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, organisational and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
• Active UK driving licence and eligibility for UK SC security clearance.
