About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to support secondary‑age students across a range of subjects in schools within Lewisham and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day work for teachers who want varied classroom experience. It is a full‑time, temporary assignment (ongoing) starting on 2 September 2026, with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and a daily rate of £150–£180. Prospero Teaching acts as the recruitment agency and will require successful candidates to complete all safeguarding and vetting checks before placement. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Required profile

Experience working with children and young people.
Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE).
Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
Two professional references covering the last two years.
