Systems Administrator – Jamf & macOS Focus

About the role

Gearset is looking for a Systems Administrator with a strong focus on Jamf and macOS to join its growing IT team. You will own the MDM platform, support a large fleet of devices, and help shape the company’s overall IT strategy. The role offers high impact, autonomy and the chance to work on cutting‑edge projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Jamf (and a small Intune footprint) for over 350 endpoints.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex support tickets and network issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the Wi‑Fi and broader network using Aruba Central and FortiManager.
• Lead maintenance, audits and security hardening across core systems.
• Collaborate with the IT Project Manager on company‑wide initiatives such as IAM and device attestation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Apple/macOS environments and Google Workspace.
• Strong background in network administration and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Analytical problem‑solver with a root‑cause approach.
• Proactive ownership of your domain while working in a lean, high‑impact team.
