About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Director or Senior Manager to lead personal tax advisory services for a well‑established, award‑winning accountancy practice in Manchester. You will work closely with partners and a diverse client base, ranging from high‑net‑worth individuals to complex international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex personal tax advisory projects across a varied client portfolio.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Identify and support business development opportunities to grow the personal tax practice.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues across multiple offices.

Required profile

• CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant personal tax advisory experience in a practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of personal tax matters.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Commercially minded with a desire to contribute to practice growth.
