Tax Valuation Professional – Senior to Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Valuation professional to join a leading professional services firm in Manchester. The position is open from senior level up to director/associate‑partner, offering the chance to lead complex valuation engagements and support senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the firm’s risk‑management and client onboarding procedures.
• Manage valuation engagements from initiation through delivery, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Perform technical valuation analyses for accounting, tax, commercial and forensic purposes.
• Prepare clear, concise valuation reports suitable for non‑technical audiences.
• Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and deliver updates.

Required profile

• Significant valuation experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow, multiples analysis and intangible‑asset valuation.
• Ability to interpret financial statements in a valuation context.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers across asset types.
• Professional accountancy qualification.
