Taxi Marshal – Nighttime Safety Officer

About the role

The Leon Group is seeking reliable Taxi Marshals to support the safe operation of Stafford Town Centre’s nighttime economy. This role focuses on managing taxi queues, assisting vulnerable passengers, and maintaining a secure environment during busy weekend evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage taxi queues and passenger flow during Saturday night shifts (21:30‑04:30).
• Assist vulnerable individuals, including lone females, ensuring their safety.
• Monitor licensed Hackney Carriages and prevent illegal plying.
• Work alongside CCTV, police, Street Pastors, and council officers to prevent disorder and conflict.
• Patrol town‑centre areas as required and produce accurate incident and operational reports.

Required profile

• Valid SIA licence.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in security, stewarding or public‑facing roles is preferred.
