Teacher – Alternative Education (1 ACE)

About the role

Five Rivers Child Care is seeking a dedicated Teacher for its 1 ACE (Another Chance Education) provision, serving the Bristol and Bath areas. You will join an experienced team that values child‑centred, trauma‑informed practice and offers flexible, therapeutic educational frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver bespoke therapeutic educational programmes tailored to each child or young person.
• Work within a trauma‑informed practice model and support the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School environment.
• Provide education on an outreach basis or within Ofsted‑registered school settings.
• Maintain flexible daily structures while ensuring high‑quality learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Committed and dedicated to working with children who have experienced trauma.
• Good written communication skills.
• Strong IT proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and young people.
