Teaching Assistant – Daily Supply (Psychology Graduates)

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a network of primary schools in Haringey, North London, on a daily supply basis from September 2026. The role is ideal for psychology graduates who want to apply their knowledge of child development and gain hands‑on classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils across the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Deliver intervention sessions and small‑group activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one assistance where required.
- Assist children with SEND, including ASD and SEMH.
- Help class teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Recent graduate in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in education, child development or related professions.
- Willingness to work flexibly across different primary schools.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Ability to follow safeguarding procedures.
- Basic understanding of SEND, ASD and SEMH needs.
