About the role
Are you enthusiastic about supporting children and motivated to make a meaningful difference in a primary school environment? Academics is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual passionate about contributing to children's learning and development.
Key responsibilities
- Help create an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment.
- Assist with lesson planning, classroom activities, and organisation.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students with additional needs to help them succeed.
Required profile
- A passion for education and working with children.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
What we offer
- Full‑time position, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
- Term‑time only employment.
- £90‑£105 per day depending on experience.
