Teaching Assistant – KS1 Small Group & SEN Support

About the role
We are looking for a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Wembley area. You will work with KS1 pupils, delivering one‑to‑one and small‑group support, and leading a dedicated nurture group for SEN learners.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised assistance to young learners, both individually and in small groups.
- Run a nurture group that offers a calm, inclusive environment for SEN pupils.
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Help maintain a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere aligned with school values.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to teachers.
Required profile
- Patient, resilient and kind with a genuine love for working with children.
- Enjoys teamwork and demonstrates reliability and purpose.
- Experience supporting primary‑aged children; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance is a plus.
- Eagerness to continue learning and develop professionally.
