About the role

As a Team Leader at Costa Coffee in Lewes, you will drive the day‑to‑day operations of a busy coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for customers. The role offers fully flexible shift patterns, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead efficient, well‑run shifts and maintain high standards of service and coffee quality.
• Train, coach and support new Baristas, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Motivate and energise the team, promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Apply resourcefulness and adaptability to resolve issues quickly and keep the store running smoothly.

Required profile

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable and resourceful.
• Previous experience as a team leader or a clear readiness to step into the role.
