Tech Data Operations Business Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Product Leader Delegate (PLD) to join the Tech Data Systems Business Operations team. The role acts as the primary Product Specialist contact for transnational teams, bridging Product Leaders and operational authoring lines, ensuring accurate implementation of product definitions, technical rules, and long‑term innovation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the key Product Specialist contact for all authoring lines within the Systems domain for the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) perimeter, ensuring smooth information flow between Product Leaders and local authoring lines across France, UK, Germany, Spain and India.
• Deploy and enforce product definitions and authoring rules, providing technical guidance and ensuring their application across the TD network.
• Contribute to creating and updating technical data documentation, user guides, and the long‑term innovation strategy for Tech Data products and services.
• Perform quality assurance checks on closed work orders and review rejected work orders to validate rationales.
• Oversee creation and tracking of work orders for transversal topic deployments, coordinating with Program Business OPS.
• Lead transversal delegated tasks, corrective actions for production errors, and additional special projects as the role evolves.

Required profile

• Technical and/or engineering expertise with the ability to grasp complex concepts within the Systems domain.
• Transverse and international leadership experience, collaborating effectively across multi‑site, multi‑cultural teams (France, UK, Germany, Spain, India).
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills to translate technical/product rules into clear operational guidelines.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, and problem‑solving mindset, capable of owning unresolved issues and driving cross‑functional alignment.
• Rigorous quality and detail orientation for rule enforcement and process tracking.
• Fluent in English; French, German or Spanish is a plus.
