Technical Business Analyst – Hybrid – Up to £60k

About the role

A market‑leading manufacturing organisation is embarking on a major digital transformation and needs a Technical Business Analyst to shape its future systems, processes and technology landscape. You will work across the business, engage with stakeholders and translate complex operational challenges into effective technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document current and future‑state business processes.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Create user stories, use cases, process maps and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal development teams and third‑party vendors to deliver system enhancements and integrations.
• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout project life‑cycles.

Required profile

• Strong SQL skills and experience using data to support analysis and decision‑making.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, EDI, XML, JSON or middleware technologies.
• Understanding of ERP and business systems environments.
• Proven ability to produce documentation such as BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and use cases.
• Background in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, production or operational environments is highly advantageous.
