Technical Specialist – Automotive Engine Management

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Specialist to support our expansion into engine management components. This position is ideal for a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with hands‑on expertise in automotive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance product designs, including the creation of process FMEAs.
• Conduct visual and physical inspections of samples and stock.
• Prepare detailed product inspection reports.
• Approve or reject factory results based on thorough evaluations.
• Manage and operate on‑site measuring equipment.
• Provide technical support to other departments and customers.
• Assist the Warranty department with failure diagnosis.

Required profile

• Vehicle Technician or Automotive Engineer with practical experience.
• Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of automotive parts and components.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Technical report writing.
• Experience using inspection measuring equipment.
• Quality control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Background in quality inspection.
• Familiarity with process FMEA methodology.
