Telehandler Operator – Temporary (Littlehampton)

About the role

This temporary position is for a Telehandler Operator on a busy new‑build construction site in Littlehampton, West Sussex. You will support the site manager by supplying sub‑contractors with materials, unloading deliveries and, when needed, managing site labour. The role starts in August 2026 and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 360‑slew telehandler to move materials around the site safely.
• Supply various sub‑contractors with the required materials throughout the day.
• Assist the site manager with daily operational tasks and site coordination.
• Unload deliveries and ensure proper storage of goods.
• Manage site labour on an as‑required basis.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards and wear required PPE.

Required profile

• Valid CPCS Card that includes 360‑slew telehandler qualification.
• Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy new‑build environment.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
