Temporary Accounting Lecturer – Flexible Teaching Role

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching on a temporary basis for a range of further‑education providers in North London. The role offers flexibility and the chance to impact learners across various accounting programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging accounting lessons for learners of differing levels.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports practical accounting knowledge and industry‑relevant skills.
• Contribute to learner achievement, retention and progression.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, AAT or a related subject.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
• Experience teaching accounting in further education, higher education, secondary or adult‑learning settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for finance education.
