TIG Aluminium Welder – 6‑month contract in West London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced TIG Aluminium Welder to join a leading transport and construction client on a rolling six‑month contract based at their West London depot. The role offers competitive hourly rates and the chance to work on high‑profile projects across London.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Perform TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel and other metals, ensuring precision and strength.
• Carry out quality inspections and make adjustments as required.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Work onsite at the West London depot for the contract duration.

Required profile

• Proven experience welding aluminium using TIG techniques.
• Demonstrated ability with TIG welding on stainless steel.
• Experience with coded welding is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Relevant welding qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
