Town Planner – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Town Planner to join our Manchester team on a hybrid basis. You will work on a variety of private‑sector projects, from large residential schemes to mixed‑use and regeneration developments, providing planning expertise and client advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications and statements.
• Conduct site appraisals and assess development potential.
• Advise clients on planning strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Manage projects through the planning system, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders as required.

Required profile

• RTPI Chartered Town Planner status (essential).
• Experience in a planning consultancy or private‑sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, professional approach.

Required skills
