About the role

This full‑time Trainee Accountant role offers a fast‑track start to a professional accounting career in the heart of Birmingham. You will receive comprehensive study support while gaining hands‑on experience with a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal portfolio of clients, building strong relationships both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Prepare month‑end accounts and produce clear financial reports.
• Assist senior accountants with audit and compliance tasks.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent knowledge in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, outgoing personality.
• Ambitious and motivated to pursue ACCA or CIMA qualifications while working.
• Excellent organisational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
