About the role
We are looking for a Trainee Loss Adjuster to join our Birmingham team. You will manage domestic property claims from the first assessment right through to settlement, supporting our customers throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site inspections of residential properties.
- Assess damage levels and quantify loss.
- Liaise directly with policyholders to gather information and explain the claims process.
- Negotiate fair settlements with claimants.
- Collaborate closely with the claims team to ensure timely and accurate resolution of each case.
Required profile
- Previous experience in property claims handling.
- Motivation to progress into a field‑based adjusting role.
- Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to evaluate damage and make reasoned decisions.
- Negotiation aptitude and attention to detail.
