About the role

Join a fast‑moving recruitment agency in Manchester as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You will receive full training to manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to placing them with clients, while developing sales and business development skills.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and execute the complete recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to understand their needs.
• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and outreach.
• Meet and exceed individual and team targets in a competitive, sales‑driven environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, market insights and best practices.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a passion for relationship building.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Previous experience in sales or customer‑facing roles is advantageous but not essential.
