Travel Sales Specialist – Africa Safari

About the role

Audley Travel is looking for a Travel Sales Specialist to design and sell bespoke African safari holidays. You will work from our Witney or Shepherd’s Bush office, combining client‑focused sales with expert destination knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Create personalised, tailor‑made itineraries for clients travelling to East Africa.
• Meet monthly sales targets while nurturing long‑term client relationships.
• Guide customers from the first enquiry through to post‑trip follow‑up.
• Handle detailed administrative tasks associated with bookings and documentation.
• Participate in a 2‑4 week familiarisation trip to Kenya to deepen product expertise.

Required profile

• Passion for travel and a desire to inspire others to explore the world.
• Previous experience in sales and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage extensive paperwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to educate clients about destinations and answer itinerary questions.
