UK Tax Compliance Manager (Contract)

About the role

We are supporting a large global organisation undergoing a transformation programme that includes legal entity integration and structural simplification across multiple jurisdictions. The company is hiring a UK Tax Compliance Manager on a contract basis to own UK corporate tax compliance and act as the primary UK technical contact within an international tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK corporation tax compliance for multiple group entities.
• Review and challenge work prepared by external advisors.
• Own UK tax reporting and statutory disclosures.
• Support group reporting and audit processes.
• Lead UK tax aspects of entity changes and structural activities.
• Ensure all UK tax filings, elections and obligations are completed accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Strong UK corporate tax compliance experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Proven ability to review, challenge and engage with detailed tax computations.
• Experience managing external advisors and audit processes.
• ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Background in a large multinational organisation; a mix of Big 4 and in‑house experience is beneficial.

What we offer

• Contract until December 2027.
• Day rate of £550‑£750 PAYE, flexible based on experience.
• Remote work (UK‑based) with occasional travel to London for key meetings.
