Unqualified Art Teacher – £25k-£39k – Hounslow

About the role

This is a salaried, fully‑funded teacher‑training position for recent Art graduates who want to start a teaching career in a modern secondary school in Hounslow. You will begin with a reduced art timetable, delivering pre‑planned lessons to KS3 classes and gradually building experience in exam‑year teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging art lessons using pre‑planned material.
• Teach KS3 pupils initially, then progress to senior years.
• Provide targeted interventions to support student progress in art.
• Collaborate with experienced practitioners and senior leadership.
• Participate in a bespoke teacher‑training scheme funded by the school.

Required profile

• Art or related degree with a 1st class or 2:1 classification.
• Strong A‑Levels and GCSEs (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• No prior school experience required – outstanding academic record is essential.

• Solid subject knowledge in art.
• Ability to plan and deliver an art curriculum.
