Vehicle Technician – Birmingham, £30k‑£40k

About the role

We are partnering with a respected independent automotive retailer in Birmingham that offers a stable, full‑time permanent position for a Vehicle Technician. You will work in a modern workshop equipped with the latest diagnostic tools, servicing a wide range of premium and mainstream vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks.
• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
• Replace cambelts, clutches, brakes, steering and suspension components.
• Diagnose faults and execute effective repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
