Vice President, Field CISO – Commercial Europe

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Vice President, Field CISO – Commercial Europe to lead senior‑level security engagements across the region. The role will act as the primary interface with enterprise CISOs, shaping strategic partnerships and positioning Mastercard as a trusted authority in cyber resilience, fraud and digital trust.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer executives, including CISOs, CIOs, CROs and Boards.
• Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity, cyber resilience, fraud, digital trust, risk management and emerging technologies.
• Lead executive briefings, advisory sessions and strategic customer engagements.
• Capture customer insights and market trends to influence product, engineering and innovation roadmaps.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Services teams to support strategic customer opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• Leadership experience in cybersecurity, information security or technology risk, preferably as a CISO or Deputy CISO.
• Proven ability to advise C‑suite and Board‑level stakeholders on security strategy, risk reduction and transformation.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers in highly regulated industries such as financial services or payments.
