Video Editor – Social Media Originals

About the role

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join the LADbible Originals team. You will edit a variety of original series such as Snack Wars, Agree to Disagree, The Eleven and more, delivering social‑first video that resonates with a youth audience.

Key responsibilities

• Edit engaging short‑form and mid‑form video for platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, maintaining high creativity, speed and attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors and production teams to ensure edits reflect LADbible’s unique voice and editorial tone.
• Perform colour correction, sound mixing and mastering across all edits, and support occasional motion‑graphics tasks in After Effects.
• Manage media assets, archive projects and keep clean workflows with regular backups.
• Guide junior editors on best practices and uphold brand, message and deadline standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional video‑editing experience in a production company, publisher, agency or branded‑content team.
• Strong editorial eye for social‑first content and a passion for youth culture and storytelling.
• Proven ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high creative standards.
• Excellent organisational skills, problem‑solving mindset and flexibility to adapt to fast‑changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong skills in After Effects and Photoshop.
• Experience with colour grading for social and broadcast standards.
• Sound‑mixing expertise for short‑form video.
• Media management and archiving best practices.
