Visiting OT Student – Hand Therapy (Stockton NLR)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a visiting occupational therapy (OT) student to provide direct patient care in hand therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. This onsite, short‑term experience supports the student’s clinical education while contributing to patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on hand therapy interventions to patients as directed by the supervising OT.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with UAMS policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in an accredited Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
